Here are some forms and leaflets which will help with arranging your Day, and may offer you some ideas and answer a few questions. Though they often mention St Mary's most of the information holds good for the other Churches in our group (and for most parish Churches in England for that matter).
Below these you'll find a bit more information about the nuts and bolts of the service, and downloadable outlines of a typical wedding , which will help you start to put your service together and - with a bit of luck - take some of the stress out of things.

DownloadOne or two bits and pieces which may help you plan how the service itself runs.
We'll add to this as time goes on with information about rehearsals (what they do and don't do), odd thoughts about little details like The Bridesmaid Question (British way is for them to follow you in, since their job is to attend to your dress and so on, American way is for them to go in first - very ornamental but not what they're there for!), guidance about photographs (as long as they don't get between you two and the Vicar there's not much we're not OK with them doing) - you get the picture. In England you're not allowed to write your own vows for any legal wedding ceremony, even a venue, though there's more freedom in a blessing or thanksgiving service.
The priest who takes your wedding will help you in sorting it all out, but you may find it useful to have an idea of how it all hangs together. If you're having orders of service printed, the essential bits are in the 'Order of Wedding Service' downloads.
